
I think London Loy is very special. Not only as a person, but the way he cooks as well. He mixes streetfood and soul with existing dishes. I followed him for a year and made a photodocumentary of it. Now I got to make a cookbook for the first time. It was also my first time shooting dishes. I took the pictures in the way I normally shoot Societies. The food was made human with an own identity, which you can see in the pictures.
